The Botnet Rustock is vanquished by Microsoft


Microsoft has beaten Rustock, this network of thousands of zombie computers that sentbillions of spam messages each day. According to the company, this botnet was responsible for more than 80% of global spam traffic.

Pfizer has also participated in the operation called''Operation B107,''the American pharmaceutical company who sees his name mentioned often in illegal spam sent.FireEye and the University of Washington have also collaborated on the decommissioning.

So with the help of its partners, Microsoft was able to defeat Rustock, but the firm doesnot stop there. Indeed, it will help the American justice in the investigation to find andtake him to court the creators of this botnet.
