Beijing accuses Google Gmail disturb

(Boursier.com) - Unable for several days to send emails or access to its list of contacts for some Gmail users in China. The search engine Google, which looked at the problem, pointing the finger once again the Chinese government on Monday to explain these failures.

"There is no problem on our side, we checked thoroughly, " said Google in a text e-mailed to Reuters. "This is a blocking government cleverly designed to make people believe that the problem is with Gmail. " Users can indeed still access their account, but some operations are impossible.

Observers link this new attempt at censorship to new calls from the Chinese media based abroad, to be undertaken in the country a democratic uprising, on the model of the revolutions of jasmine in the Middle East.
