After the
720p PPV here’s MOMENTUM with the HDTV PPV for the movie ‘
Red State‘,
a 2011 Horror/Thriller starring Michael Parks, Melissa Leo and John
Goodman, directed by Kevin Smith. The movie is set in Middle America,
where a group of teens receive an online invitation for sex, though they
soon encounter fundamentalists with a much more sinister agenda. Enjoy!
Plot: Three young students decide to have a bit of
fun and be more experimental in their sex lives so they reply to an
advert in the paper. But what they think will be fun turns into a
nightmare as they find themselves involved in murder, torture, a
religious group and basically ‘Hell’. Kevin Smith steps his foot into
horror territory with this politically tinged fright flick starring
Michael Parks (From Dusk Till Dawn, Grindhouse) as a controversial Fred
Phelps-ish reverend who brings his own brand of zealotry to a wayward
group of teens. Smith directs from his own long-in-development script.
