Mysql.com hacked, serving BlackHole exploit malware

MySQL.com website is currently hacked and compromised with a JavaScript malware (and serving malware to anyone visiting it). The mysql.com website is injected with a script that generates an iFrame that redirects the visitors to http://truruhfhqnviaosdpruejeslsuy.cx.cc/main.php, where the BlackHole exploit pack is hosted.

"It exploits the visitor's browsing platform (the browser, the browser plugins like Adobe Flash, Adobe PDF, etc, Java, ...), and upon successful exploitation, permanently installs a piece of malware into the visitor's machine, without the visitor's knowledge," say the researchers. "The visitor doesn't need to click or agree to anything; simply visiting mysql.com with a vulnerable browsing platform will result in an infection."

It is, of course, impossible to say who the attackers are. The domain reached through the iFrame is registered to one Christopher J Klein from Miami and is located in Berlin, Germany. The domain serving the exploit and the malware is located in Stockholm, Sweden.The administrators of the mysql.com domain are being contacted, but the site is still up and compromised, say the researchers.

He added, Even after you are logged out, Facebook is able to track your browser's page every time you visit a website. A useful but probably unintended side effect of the new Timeline profile, is that it allows you to very easily see who unfriended you on Facebook over the past few years. All credit to Matt Stopera for the screenshots below. And we’ll mention this video again with instructions on how to enable Timeline for your profile.
1) Select a year in the sidebar (TIP: Start with the year you joined Facebook and work your way to 2011)



2) Look for the Friends box that shows how many new friends you made



3) Click on the number of new friends

TLC shares the full story behind some the women who are incarcerated in America’s prisons in the all-new six-episode series “PRISON DIARIES”, premiering Thursday September 19 at 10/9c. Featuring first-person interviews with the convicted women, their victims and families, and the people who brought the crimes to justice, each story offers an exclusive and harrowing journey inside the female criminal mind.

The first episode, “Confessions from Death Row,” features Emilia Carr, one of the estimated 63 women on death row in the US, convicted for the brutal killing of her romantic rival; and Patricia Ignacio, sentenced to 15 years for 2nd degree murder.

50000 WordPress Sites infected with spam

The attack consists of contacting the domain wplinksforwork.com to get a list of links to be displayed on the compromised sites. However, that domain has been down for the last few days and all the sites compromised. These sites supposed to be compromised. Most of the hacked sites had outdated versions of WordPress installed.

Infected sites have following message at Footer :

iPhone Skype XSS Vulnerability Lets Hackers Steal Phonebook [Video]

XSS in Skype

A Cross-Site Scripting vulnerability exists in the "Chat Message" window in Skype 3.0.1 and earlier versions for iPhone and iPod Touch devices.
Skype uses a locally stored HTML file to display chat messages from other Skype users, but it fails to properly encode the incoming users "Full Name", allowing an attacker to craft malicious JavaScript code that runs when the victim views the message.
To demonstrate the vulnerability, I captured a photo of a simple javascript alert() running within Skype.
Executing arbitrary Javascript code is one thing, but I found that Skype also improperly defines the URI scheme used by the built-in webkit browser for Skype. Usually you will see the scheme set to something like, "about:blank" or "skype-randomtoken", but in this case it is actually set to "file://". This gives an attacker access to the users file system, and an attacker can access any file that the application itself would be able to access.
File system access is partially mitigated by the iOS Application sandbox that Apple has implemented, preventing an attacker from accessing certain sensitive files. However, every iOS application has access to the users AddressBook, and Skype is no exception. I created a proof of concept injection and attack that shows that a users AddressBook can indeed be stolen from an iPhone or iPod touch with this vulnerability.
